Nick Bruns, OD, FAAO, learned early on that some of the best insight doesn’t come from a lecture hall but from talking directly with peers. That idea became Peer-to-Peer Academy, a place where experts in ophthalmology and optometry sit down for honest conversations rooted in real-world experience.
Dr. Bruns partnered with MJM in 2024 to turn that idea into something real. Our goal was to create a brand identity, digital assets, and a rollout strategy. But building an audience was only half the goal. The platform needed to become valuable enough that medtech companies would pay to be part of it, and turn trust and attention into sponsor revenue.
We built the brand first, including a logo, identity, website, and social platforms to house monthly webinars. Each asset was designed to build Peer-to-Peer Academy’s reputation as the place where real conversations in ophthalmology happen.
Once that equity existed, we built a sales aid that turned the platform’s value into a pitch for sponsors, and worked with Dr. Bruns to sharpen how he delivered it.
Within two months, Dr. Bruns had signed three new sponsors and turned an engaged audience into revenue.
